During pregnancy, it’s very important to keep it normal (to avoid pre-eclampsia, which is dangerous for you and baby), so take medicines that your gynae gives you. Also, stick to a low salt diet throughout your pregnancy. Generally, the only way to control the salt in the food is if it is home cooked. Avoid sauces as well, as they usually are high in salt and/or sugar. For taste, use herbs and spices. Pepper makes a lot of things taste better. Heh. Other things that raise blood pressure can include stress/anger, etc, so try to keep calm and in a stress free environment as much as possible.
Hope you’ll have a wonderful pregnancy and even more fulfilling journey as a mum:)
