Any one else here whose child has suffered from Umbilical hernia? What did you do to treat it? Any particular precautions that must be kept in mind?

My cousin's son had it when he was younger. From what I understood, it was only noticable when her son was crying and there was a slight bump on around his belly. She didn't think much of it until her husband brought it up when he was changing her. The hernia went away on its own without surgery. Please bring your child to your PD to get id diagnosed properly. Do not strap or have anything "push down" the hernia. Most umbilical hernia goes away on their own, otherwise a simple surgery may be done to remove it.
