I really feel you on this, story time is honestly one of my favourite parts of the day with my kids. We started with simple picture books when they were really young and now my girl actually reminds me if I forget to read to her before bed. Just make it cosy and interactive, like asking them what they think will happen next, and they get so into it leh.
