A few of us in my mum group had the same concern when our babies were measuring big, and most of our gynae actually advised us to watch our overall sugar and carb intake rather than just switching to skimmed milk. I would check with your gynae or even your polyclinic doctor first before making changes, because they can look at your full diet picture and give you proper guidance lah. One of my mum friends was told by her gynae that skimmed milk is generally fine but portion and frequency still matter, so it really depends on your individual situation.
