Ahhh I can understand the worry, betul, but you're doing the right thing by getting it done early, really! A few of my mum friends dah through the same thing, and honestly after the operation mereka cakap anak boleh recover quite fast, main balik within a week or two je. The surgery is quite routine untuk doctors now, so try not to stress yourself too much (easier said than done, I know!). Just make sure you follow the post-op care closely, keep the area clean and dry, monitor for any signs of infection, and the doctor akan guide you through everything step by step. Best of luck to your little one, will be over before you know it!
