Actually, dari pengalaman mum friends around me, gender scans boleh keluar salah tapi it's not really a "scam", more like the accuracy depends on berapa weeks and the sonographer lah. A few of us tried scan at different clinics, and most accurate around 18-20 weeks when the anatomy is clearer, but even then ada cases where they see wrong angle or baby position block the view. One of my mum friends swear by going to a reputable clinic with experienced sonographer, she went to one of the bigger chains and they double-checked, and got it right both times. The thing is, sometimes it's genuinely difficult to tell accurately, especially if baby shy or tidak cooperative during scan! So if you got conflicting results, maybe get a second opinion from another clinic rather than assume salah. But definitely ask the sonographer to explain what they see and confirm berapa weeks your baby is, that makes a big difference.
