Test air ketuban/amniocentesis

Saya tak pernah buat sendiri, tapi a few of my mum friends yang kena high-risk pregnancy memang undergone amniocentesis, mostly sebab screening markers keluar slightly concerning atau ada family history. Dari cerita mereka, the procedure itself quick je, maybe 15-20 minutes, tapi memang ada tiny risk of miscarriage (very rare lah), so it's not something ambil lightly. The upside is you dapat very accurate results untuk genetic conditions & can plan ahead, tapi obviously it's invasive so a lot of us prefer to weigh all options dulu & get proper counselling from the OB. Honestly, if your doctor is suggesting it, best talk through the exact reasons why they're recommending it for your case specifically, setiap pregnancy berbeza.
