Sometimes as much as we want to set aside for the family's savings, there are inevitable circumstances wherein we unfortunately spend our 'supposed savings.' However, I also make sure that in the next coming pay days, I need to offset whatever has been spent previously and it back to the savings.
Right now, I cannot. We still have a lot of bills to pay and we just want to finish up everything soon so we could start saving. In a few months time, I know we'd be able to start saving already in time for my eldest son's schooling.

Yes got to save and invest so as to build enough nest for my girl..I just got to know that SMU school fees now for 4 years is 100k..can't imagine 20 years later..
Given the high cost of everything....nah, saving is difficult. When it started, somehow or rather, something will crop up and savings say bye bye...
Savings and investment should be the priority over any other things because it will be our primary source in times of emergencies and uncertainties.
Sadly, I don't. Even if I want to, I always end up spending most of the allotted monthly budget. Good thing is that my partner is the one who saves.
Yes. We first deduct savings and bills from our combined salaries. What's left will be alloted for dine outs and allowances.
Not at this point. We still have a lot of bills to pay monthly. I'm hoping this year we could add more income streams.
