My 9 mth old can sit, cruise, stand, crawl and babble but he prefers to stand and cruise and loves to let go of whatever railing or handles he hold on to & stand for a few secs before he fall butt down.
All babies have & grow at different phases. Some skipped crawling but can walk, some vice versa. I have another 4 older kids and not all of them crawl at this age so yes, it's absolutely & perfectly normal!
