Hi, momsh! I have gestational diabetes (as early as 18 weeks, na detect na). What I do is I monitor my blood sugar using a glucometer 4 times a day (pre and post breakfast and dinner). Nag shift na rin ako sa brown rice and strict diet. No sweets talaga even fruits (according to my IM doctor, mataas sugar content nila). More on vegetables and water. Thank God, na re regulate naman yung blood sugar ko. Hope this helps.

Maliban sa less sugar, less carbs po para hindi masyadong mag shoot up ang blood sugar. Less salt din po para di ma high blood. Of course, less bad fats hehe More on fruits, veggies, and fluids (preferably water)
