baby sudd clingy

Hi, my 6weeks old baby had a change of behavior. recently it's difficult to put my baby to sleep. She would sleep when we hug and carry her and will cry when put down. And she cries more frequent and very loud. Wondering if it because she wants attention. Anyone encounter the same issue?
