Baby

Sleeping a lot

My 5 months old baby has been sleeping a lot since birth. He sleeps through the night, and in the day he will take 1-2 naps that can stretch up to 3-4 hours per nap and then 2-3 30mins ish naps. Is that normal? His infant care teacher was shocked that he is sleeping this much. Sometimes I will have to dream feed him if it is way pass his feed time. He is bottle fed with ebm. Thanks!

I was equally as paranoid too. But as long as your baby is thriving, gaining weight and not underweight, meeting milestones then just let the kid sleep. Babies are smart and they know when theyre hungry. Ignore the ifc teacher. Every baby is different
