Colic is actually just prolonged intense crying. Not exactly a health condition or illness. If ur baby is crying alot may be due to alot of reasons, normal tho for newborn as he's adjusting to new env. Anw baby farting alot is totally normal. I gave my baby Ridwind at 1 month, helps a bit with the gas.
Newborn's digestive system is immature,. so they produce a lot of gas. this is normal.
