Which weeks did you gave birth?

37 weeks are considered full term, we can choose to get it induce or to wait (naturally) I gave birth at 37 weeks sharp as I started to dilate at 36 weeks and I had contractions , extreme pain everywhere especially my pelvic area. I had bloody show afterwards but my waterbag didn't break so my gynae poked my waterbag at 12 midnight sharp on 37 weeks as she told me it is considered full term so it's safe. I am currently 32 weeks with my second pregnancy and I was wondering if I will be giving birth on 37 weeks too? I mean , I have a choice but what's best? #advicepls I appreciate if you can share your experiences too ☺️ #BreakTheSilence

Every pregnancy is different, but based on my experience normally if the previous pregnancy gave birth early normally next one will be too. But still based on individuals. Just hang on there and see what happens at 37weeks by then. Best advice is opt for natural birth since your first delivery is already natural birth without inducing. My 3 pregnancy are all induced vaginal birth and they are really painful. If I have a choice this time round, I would like to experience the natural birth without inducing and planned.

There are new standards now, the last time I read only 38 weeks is considered full term. But any way, best to come as close to due date as possible since the last few weeks are very important for brain development

2nd pregnancy are usually earlier they say bt not sure how true. Bt for mine, my first born came out at 39 weeks & 2nd born cam out at 37 week + 😁

let nature do its course. 37-40 wks is the normal range. scan is usually advise at last trimester to check on your little one.

Just read somewhere, 37 weeks is not considered full term already.
