Tongue tie - to release or not?

Any reason why your PD said there was no need? The tongue tie release is usually not done by the PD but a paediatric surgeon. How about seeking a second opinion with a paediatric surgeon? My friend’s son had tongue tie that wasn’t obvious at birth, but much later. He would be drenched in saliva, even after 2 years old. Just had the tongue tie released recently. Tongue ties can affect the speech too.

Any reason why your pd said don’t need to do anything about this? It’s one of the biggest reasons for poor breastfeeding
