2month old baby only cries or sleeps

My 2.5 months old baby is either sleeping, or cries when she is awake. There is hardly any time she is awake and happy so we can have some play time. My friends' babies around this age seem to be able to be put there to play or on their own. Is this normal?

I think it's normal! probably it's your baby's character? my 1month old only cries and always having problem sleeping.
