2 Month Old Overtired

My 2 mth old baby suddenly doesn't want to nap in the afternoon. Even if he does, it's no more than 30mins. He's also been drinking only 50 to 60ml milk every 1 to 2hrly in the afternoon. Ultimately he becomes overtired and cries non stop when he's unable to fall asleep at night. What is happening? ?
