Hmm, 17 days is a bit late for the umbilical cord to fall off, usually it comes off around day 7 to 10 naman, so I'd really suggest bringing baby to your pedia just to make sure everything's okay and there's no infection. It's probably nothing serious, pero better safe than sorry with these things, lalo na ganyan ka-specific ang timing!
