It sounds like you are going through a challenging time with your 13-month-old's sleep habits. It's common for babies to still wake up during the night at this age, especially if they are breastfed to sleep and co-sleeping. Here are some suggestions that might help improve your situation: 1. Establish a bedtime routine: Creating a consistent bedtime routine can help signal to your baby that it's time to sleep. This routine might include activities like a warm bath, reading a book, or gentle music. 2. Encourage self-soothing: Try to help your baby learn how to fall asleep on her own without breastfeeding. You can try techniques like gradual weaning, offering comfort in other ways, or using a transitional object. 3. Create a sleep-friendly environment: Ensure that the room is dark, quiet, and at a comfortable temperature for your baby to sleep peacefully. 4. Consult with a pediatrician: If you are still struggling with your baby's sleep after trying different methods, it might be helpful to seek advice from a pediatrician or a sleep consultant for personalized guidance. Remember, every baby is different, and it may take some time to find a solution that works best for your family. Hang in there, and be patient with yourself and your little one. It's okay to ask for help and support when needed. https://invl.io/cll6she

Thank you for sharing! Yes we do have a bed time routine every night and it’s exactly like what you say 🙁 (bathe, read book, brush teeth, white noise on, sleep) We do give her a small pillow that she can hug to sleep but she will hug it and still want to latch 😭 Our room is dark, air conditioned and white noise music on, it feels like the perfect sleep environment for her alr 😭 It is sooo difficult 🥲

hi Mummy i facing same issue with my no 4 only now 14 mths. my baby cannot sleep without latch on. worse still, she does not suck milk bottle instead she prefer to drink using straw. if she cannot gets nipple she will scream. i remember my helper told me that her friend from opposite block can hear her crying. what i do to stop, i ask my helper to sleep with my baby. it works 80%. at times she still crying loudly for nipples and that is where i have no choice but to give her latch on. but again, i never stop i keep trying letting my helper sleep with her and now getting better. can sleep as early as 945 and wake up 1 or 2 times just to drink water no milk.

Umm breastfeeding at 17 months here and co sleeping too. Honestly havent had a decent sleep since before pregnancy but im holding on for her sake. May i recommend getting in touch with a lactation consultant or bmsg to seek some advice? I feel u because im glued to her hips since birth haha. But its been wonderful seeing my baby thrive. Sometimes i feel resentful too but its pretty much the lack of sleep talking. Somedays are really hard 🥺 Hope it gets better for u!

Im currently breastfeeding baby number 4 who is turning 13 months old and in the same boat as you. Only my firstborn sttn at about 4 months plus. Number 2, 3 and 4 not a chance. Even if they already ate a good dinner, latch to sleep, lo and behold they can still wake up 2-3 times at night. Yes it’s tiring, I totally get you. No solution to your problem but just want you to know you’re not alone momma. 💪🏻
