Spotting kelabu

Aww sayang, I understand how scary this must be for you A few of us in my mum group had similar experiences, spotting kelabu or coklat during early pregnancy, and sometimes the scan findings changed between visits, especially if the timing or angle was off. The thing is, at 6+ weeks the kantung, yolk sac, AND fetal pole should all be visible, so if the second scan hanya nampak kantung, it could mean a few things, maybe the dating is off, maybe it's just how the baby positioned during that scan, or sometimes sadly it means the pregnancy didn't progress. But I've also heard of cases where what looked concerning at one scan turned out okay at the next visit, so honestly it really depends on what your doctor says about the measurements and growth. The spotting kelabu itself isn't always a bad sign either, some moms spot throughout early pregnancy and everything's fine, but the key is whether the baby's measurements match up with your dates. Definitely go back to your clinic or doctor soon and ask them to compare the two scans properly, check the kantung measurements, and maybe do a repeat scan in a week or so to see if there's growth.
