Hi mummies, anyone use Haenim 7V or Imani breastpump? Isit worth buying? #advicepls #haenim #breastpump

Initially I wanted to buy the Imani breastpump. Looks really cool and portable until I saw negatives reviews from a mummy if I'm not wrong she's a blogger? Not sure about that. So apparently the thing about that pump is you can't and don't know how much & how long you've pump since there's no indicator. This part turns me off. I need an indicator since I will be exclusively pumping and it's a hassle if I have to keep peeping to see how much bm I've pumped while busy handling baby. Not sure about Haenim 7V. That particular thing looks really cool to me. Like really sleek. I've read good reviews about this. It's quiet but still need to see if there's any negatives one so I can compare and think twice before purchasing.

Breastmilk Storage

Hi Mummies, first time mom here.. pls pls pls share with me how do you keep your expressed breastmilk if you’re out for 12hrs with no access to freezer or fridge? I’m working in an office which do not have access to any of those and I’m using milk storage bags to pump out my breastmilk. I’ll leave house at 7-ish in the morning and be back home around 7-ish in the evening. And I need to pump 2 times at least in a 12-hr period if baby is not latching. Autumnz ice packs? V-cool ice bricks? A good cooler bag? Buy an ice maker and put in office? Buy a mini fridge? If it's 12hrs,then it's better for you to buy mini fridge as it's always cold. Ice packs i don't think it will help for long term. So just put the breast milk there, then when you going home, use the ice packs to maintain it's temperature so you can put it back into the freezer later.

Breastpump brand Spectra Vs other brand

Hi mummies. It's my first time using breastpump. Was wondering if you can share reviews on Spectra or any other brands you would like to recommend. Some qns I have will be, How long does it take to pump? Is it electric portable pump or wired? Thanks! #breastpump

For me, I Love spectra S1 . Suction is good n strong:) The Downside is not portable and heavy, but for home use is prefect. 10-15 mins per boobs , once u clear everything. If still not clear ( example 4-5 hrs didn’t pump) , I did max was 25-30 mins per boobs till clear. If feel pain can adjust suction to lower, then 20-25 mins also ok. I had Spectra S9+, Real Bubee ( it’s cheaper) is portable but not as good as S1 suction. So I still depend on S1. If I’m outside, usually I will just breast feed then go home and pump 3 hrly. Some mummies go for portable ones if they are at work at least can release milk n put in milk bag :) So depends on your comfort level , some mummies ok w either spectra , Medela Freestyle , Real Bubee etc If you want good suction then go for spectra S1 / Medela .

Bringing breast pumps to hospital

Hi all! Should we bring our breast pump to hospital during delivery? I’ve a spectra S1 and a portable medela freestyle flex as a gift from a friend - haven’t figured out how to use them yet 😅 I’m delivering in Mount E orchard, wondering if they’ll have breast pumps to rent or if I should bring my own Also, if I were to bring my own, do I clean and sterilize all the parts prior to going to the hospital (but how long before and how to store them to ensure they stay clean before delivery day?) or can I do the sterilization in hospital? (I.e. somehow get access to boiling water hahaha) Thanks in advance!! :) #pregnancy #1stimemom #breastpump

Having same qns as u! But im delivering in mt e novena. Was told by my fren no nd to bring pump.. she also delivered at same hosp thou.. so i am also not bringing i guess. I have s1 as well!

I am looking a portable breast pump which can be used at home and also bring to work. I went to mummy market and the sales lady recommended Medela to me. I know that Medela, Hegen and Spectra are the popular ones. Any recommendation? And is it necessary to get the milk bottle from the same brand too? #pleasehelp #advicepls #1stimemom #breastpump
