L uterine artery notch

hi dear mummies. I went for 20 week growth scan Was told that bb left uterine artery notch shown a yes. Doc claimed the blood flow is slower on. The left side. Anyone encounter it before and what's is the bb growth subsequently? Thank you. #pleasehelp #firstmom

I haven't personally experienced this, but I know it can feel really worrying to hear something unexpected at your scan. It would be worth going back to your gynae or asking for a referral to a specialist to understand what monitoring plan they have in mind for you, just so you have a clearer picture of what to expect going forward. Some mums do go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies with close monitoring, so try not to jump to conclusions yet, and having more frequent scans can help the doctors catch any changes early. You are asking the right questions and that already puts you in a good position.
