5 months, baby, not able to flip over, and didn't go out much. Is this normal?

Hello, I'm a working mum. Hence, my baby is left alone with my helper. I am not comfortable letting her bring my 5 months old out because of safety issues. So my baby is always at home. Also, I noticed she's not able to flip over yet, which worries me as I thought by 4 months she should be able. Does anyone encounter this, too? #pleasehelp #advicepls #firstbaby #firsttimemom

My baby is having red rashes on cheeks and head. Red and pops out with white dots. Is this OK?

It could be heat rash/milk rash or the pre stage rashes for newborn baby. You can use damp cloth to clean her face each time after BM and pat dry after that. It will go away after awhile. Unless baby feel discomfort and itchy/dry/blisters then you may consult dr. I will use either Kodomo Powder Lotion or Cetaphil Lotion after each bathing period or when skin gets dry/too red.

Am I able to get HL from my gynea at week 35 onwards due to work stress?

I've been feeling stressed and burned out lately due to the changes in management. As my boss requested more, it seems like I am not able to contribute as I tend to lose focus and am not able to commit with the OT. My team stayed till midnight at times to clear work, which I find it really tough as I am drained by then.

Yes you can ask. Just let your gynae know that you’ve been feeling more exhausted due to work stress. If you go on in this way, it’ll be a matter of time that you’ll develop some troubling symptoms eg headache, body aches. Pretty sure you’re supposed to rest and focus on labour by 36 weeks onwards so gynae will be understanding of this.

I'm week 27! How do you survive at work till maternity leave? Any tips! Feeling no mood to work :(

Facing a demanding boss and I don't have mood to work! I wonder how to survive till maternity leave!

Just face the 'ocean' and do what you are suppose to be doing. Look forward to meeting your favourite colleagues/best buddy at work and thinking of the end mth salary. Even it doesn't make any difference before pregnancy but well atleast that's a little motivation. It may sound hard. But that's what I tell myself when I was working FT/PT. Having said that, I always draw line to all my superior,management, colleagues that I am pregnant so don't give a hard time to me during this period as this can definitely affect my mood, work ethic and performance.

Having a lady boss who was single, not married, aged close to 35, and not so understanding.

Hi I am 26 weeks pregnant and so far my pregnancy was alright just that I was annoyed by my boss for not being understanding, and instead of working together, she just requested me to do the work. I understand that I need to listen to her request, but still, there are times when she can help instead of just questioning why. My company Hr approved my 2 days wfh in a week, but I am not sure why I felt that my boss always gave me extra loads or find trouble when I am wfh. She will keep demand on things and chase me for updates. I felt really tired working under her as she would have mood swings even told me she was tipsy and not concentrating well. #justsharingmyexperience #encouragementplease

Workplace discrimination is real - as much as companies claim that they are not, in reality small gestures and actions matters, and these things are hard to quantify. Many women also faces challenges in promotion because they are going on maternity etc. and most of the time, because it’s hard to prove, going to the authorities won’t work too. It’s such a sad reality! 😭

Can I go for prawning at around 25-27 weeks?

My friend wants to try prawning and just nice I have a 3 hours free voucher. We are thinking of going together. Is there any risk?

Depends if you’re superstitious (/pantang) anot? Otherwise, I doubt there’s any risk.
