Increased Yellowish Discharge

Hello all, chineck ni OB yung vagina ko and found out di normal ying discharge. Yellowish- light green tapos ang dami. Nabahala sya and binigyan ako ng vaginal suppository and antibiotic kaso wala talagang epekto. Last week pinaps smear nya nako then niresitahan ng another antibiotic, May nakaranas na po sa inyo ng ganito? Ay, alam ko yan! That yellowish-greenish discharge during pregnancy can be really worrying. A few of us moms had similar experiences, and honestly, sometimes it takes a couple of rounds of antibiotics kasi ang bacteria ay stubborn talaga, especially during pregnancy when our bodies are vulnerable. One thing na natanggap ko from my mum group: sometimes ang first antibiotic talaga ay hindi effective, so don't worry na hindi gumagana agad, kailangan lang ng second round or even third depending sa swab results mo. The key is to follow up with your OB on those pap smear results, kung ano talaga ang bacteria or infection, kaya important ang exact diagnosis para ma-prescribe ang right antibiotic na specific sa condition mo. In the meantime, some moms swore by keeping the area clean and dry, staying away from douches, and wearing cotton underwear lang. It's manageable once you get the right treatment, so don't stress too much, just make sure your doctor knows if the second antibiotic also doesn't seem to be working, kasi may times na kailangan adjust pa ng dosage or meds. Definitely follow up with your OB soon para sa results at check kung may improvement na, okay? Take care!
