Uy congrats sa first baby! Honestly, maraming factors talaga, hospital usually has mas complete equipment and staff if may emergency, pero mas mahal at sometimes mas mahabang waiting time, while birthing centers ay mas intimate at relaxed ang setup pero depende talaga kung saan ka at gaano ka-equipped ang facility. A few of us moms checked both options and ang deciding factor namin talaga ay kung saan comfortable kami and kung may complications ba, kaya best to sit down with your OB and discuss kung anong available sa inyong area and what's safest for your situation!

CS Mom anong gamit niyo para hindi mabasa yung tahi? Ilang weeks/months bago kayo makarecover?

as per my OB, pwedeng mabasa while maliligo. after maligo, pat dry, spray with antiseptic spray, then cover with gauze. hindi ako nagkaroon ng infection. since advice ni OB mo ay takpan, ask mo sa mga botika ang waterproof wound dressing. may nabibili rin online. bumili ako nun sa lazada pero dko nagamit dahil pwede nga basain. kung wala pang available na waterproof wound dressing, kahit plastic na lang muna then surgical tape sa paligid. after 1 month, mukhang ok na ang tahi ko. pero ingat pa rin dahil hindi pa totally recovered ang tahi sa loob.
