Delivery at Thompson medical VS NUH/KKH private.

Hello mummies, first time pregnancy here. Currently in subsidised route at KKH but planning to change to private for delivery. Anyone knows if the pricing is significantly different? (Opting for normal birth). Additionally, as long as baby and I are doing fine I’m ok to stick to subsidised route until before delivery. Some of my friends say there is a personal touch with private, is there really a difference? The price for usual check ups/tests at subsidise clinic vs TMC wasn’t far off too. Can someone share what is actually the difference please? :)

Im at 21 weeks and having bad cough for 2 days now. Its a Dry cough. Ive seen dr but did not give any medicine only losenges and advised me to rest. Any recommendations to help relieve my cough at night?
