Hi mommies. Ada ke yang usia kandungan 26 minggu tapi kaki dah mula membengkak?

Jangan risau sangat, dear, dari apa yang I dengar, swelling at 26 weeks is actually quite common because your blood volume and body fluids increase a lot during pregnancy to support baby's growth, and that fluid tends to settle in the feet and ankles especially by second trimester. The important thing is to keep an eye on your blood pressure as well, because sometimes swelling can be a sign of something more serious like preeclampsia, especially if your BP reads high, my neighbour actually found this out at her routine check and her doctor caught it early, alhamdulillah. Do try to rest with your feet elevated when you can, and monitor if the swelling spreads to your hands or face, which is worth flagging sooner rather than later. That said, every pregnancy is different, so please do mention this to your own doctor or specialist at your next visit so they can assess properly, better to check and be sure, dear.
