Hi mga mommies..

Hi mga mommies..tanong lang po pure BF po ako ng more than 3 months sa baby ko nag decide po kami i mix cia ng formula.una nag try kmi ng bonna every dede nia nag po-poop cia mga 2 days din cia uminom nun then tnary nmin ung enfamil a+ nurapro same din po kada dede nia nag po-poop din cia..ano kya dahilan nun di cia hiyang sa gatas o dahil naninibago lang cia dahil pure bf cia ng 3 buwan mahigit?!Salamat po..

Ay, common yan sa babies pagdating sa transition from pure breastmilk to formula, mommy! A few of us tried introducing formula at 3+ months din and our babies took a while to adjust, their poop schedule and consistency changes talaga kasi iba ang composition ng formula vs breastmilk, so it's likely adjustment period lang, hindi necessarily na hindi hiyang. Siguro give it 1-2 more weeks with one formula para makita if magstabilize na ang tummy niya, pero if after that time hindi pa rin ok ang poop or nakikita mo may discomfort siya (excessive gas, fussiness, diaper rash), mejor i-check mo with your pedia para sigurado, baka may sensitive tummy talaga or need ng different formula type like partially hydrolyzed milk.
