38 weeks and 4 days, 4 cm na. Any tips para maging manipis ang cervix? At mapadali ang pag usad.

Kagabi pa po ako 4 cm.

Ay, so close na! Honestly, a few of us moms swear by walking, like really walking, hindi lang pacing around the house, kundi parang purposeful walking para tulong sa gravity and positioning ng baby. One friend din namin tried primrose oil (okay lang yan before labor based sa research) and swear she felt things progressing faster, pero important talaga na i-check mo yan with your OB first since you're already 4cm. At this point siguro mas better na makipag-coordinate sa doctor mo on what's safe for you, basta rest din when you need it, hydrate, at try to keep calm lang kasi stress talaga nakaka-slow ng labor progression. Kapit lang, mama, you're almost there na!

Aw mama, yan talaga ang struggle ng third trimester, sobrang common yan especially when you're so close na sa due date! A few of us mums experienced the same intense itching, and honestly it can drive you crazy kahit gabi lang. The good news is mostly hormonal lang siya dahil sa skin stretching at changes, pero since you've had it for a while na, mas better kung i-check mo with your OB just to make sure everything's okay, sometimes it can be a sign na kailangan lang ng attention, hindi bad pero better safe. In the meantime, try cold compresses, wear loose cotton clothes, at avoid super hot showers (I know hard kasi gusto mo ng mainitin pampain, pero it makes it worse!). Hydrate like crazy din, and some mums swear by unscented lotions or coconut oil, pero doc first para sure okay ka lang, 'cause you're so close na!
