40weeks no pain

40 weeks na po ako no pain padin. Kahapon in-IE ako 2-3 cm palang. Nagsalpak na din ako ng primerose oil at uminom ng hyoscine. 3hrs after IE may lumabas po sakin discharge na may konting dugo at kinaumagahan pagtapos kong mag akyat panaog sa hagdan, may lumabas naman sakin na dugo mas marami kaysa sa una. Pero hanggang ngayon wala parin hilab akong nararamdaman. Bukas pa po ako ulit magpapacheckup. May kagaya po ba sakin dito?? Ano pong action ginawa nyo??

Uy, kaya mo yan! So yung bloody show mo with that mucus discharge ay actually good sign na may cervical changes na, especially after the IE, pero totoo na hindi lahat agad sumusunod with contractions pagkatapos. May kaibigan akong 40+ weeks din, nag-IE tapos may bloody show, pero walang hilab pa for another 2-3 days until suddenly labor kicked in hardcore; some mums though ay nag-show agad ng contractions after, so really it varies. The primrose oil at hyoscine helped prep the cervix, kaya yung spotting mo ay likely from that plus the cervical stretching from IE, all normal. Since you're hitting that 40-week mark with some signs ng progress, it's definitely worth asking your OB bukas kung worth doing another IE or if she sees good dilation momentum, at kung kelan na realistic ang next steps para sa inyo (sometimes they suggest induction or waiting a bit more). For now rest muna, hydrate, at timing mo lang if mag-start ang regular contractions, you've got this! But check in with your doctor talaga to see what's best for your situation.
