Aww, ang sweet mo for offering! Depende talaga sa age ng baby, if newborn pa lang, maybe a co-sleeper or bassinet muna, pero kung ready na for independent sleeping, a crib with firm mattress talaga ang safest. A few of us mums prefer buying new or certified secondhand para sure sa safety standards, especially sa slats and paint (walang lead), pero I understand din kung budget-conscious kayo, just make sure walang cracks, sharp edges, or missing parts po! Goodluck sa inyong baby!

Rocking chair

Aww, ganyan talaga ang rocking chairs na yan, ang ganda lang habang ginagamit, tapos pag di na, nagiging storage na lang sa bahay! A few of us moms actually realized na hindi worth it ang space they take up, especially kung kalahating araw lang talaga ang actual use, so nag-donate na lang or ino-offer sa FB groups instead ng mag-keep ng disassembled box. Kung gusto mo pa rin i-keep, maybe ask yourself kung babawi ka pa talaga or if you need that space for something else na more practical, honestly, maraming moms in our circle na nag-realize na baby gear doesn't always spark joy after a few months.

Ay, if you're looking to buy a stroller na hindi na ginagamit, ang best bet mo talaga is to check Facebook Marketplace or the local buy-and-sell groups dito sa Philippines, maraming moms namin doon nag-post ng strollers na okay pa lang condition pero ayaw na nila gamitin. Mas mura usually at pwede ka pa mag-negotiate pa, lalo na kung mag-bulk ka ng baby items!
