Is this mucus okay for 22 weeks pregnant?

This time it is slightly slippery, nagpa check up nako recently lang kasi brown yung discharge ko at sabi ng OB ko okay lang ako kasi close pa naman ang cervix ko, naka bed rest naman ako though sumisipa sa ilalim like lighting crotch si baby I was assured that everything is fibe. But still worried. Pagka ihi ko at pag punas ko yan ang lumabas right now i felt ko yung paglabas nito at nag vibrate or nagsikip ang part ng ilalim ko , tapoa ng i wipe ko yan ang lumitaw 😔 is this really normal ? Nag heherragest ako suppository 2 times a day. #mucusplug #22weeks1daypregnant

Nak, yan talaga normal sa pregnancy, especially with the Hemmorhage you're taking, yung slippery, stretchy discharge na yan ay kahit common lang. Since your OB already checked you at tight pa ang cervix mo, that's honestly the reassurance na kailangan mo most. The brown discharge before was probably just old blood settling, kaya okay lang, pero the slippery feel ngayon? That's just extra estrogen at increased blood flow down there, walang problema. Some mums get that sensation din ng tightening or vibrating feeling as baby moves lower, kaya relax, yan parte lang ng pregnancy hormones at baby's space-taking. Keep an eye lang kung may severe cramping, heavy bleeding, or foul smell (red flags talaga those), pero based sa check-up mo, you're good. Still, worth mentioning to your OB next time just to set your mind at ease completely, lalo na since bed rest ka.

Anak, please contact your OB or go to your clinic ASAP para malaman kung ano talaga yan, hindi dapat mag-self diagnose kami sa ganitong bagay, especially kung worried ka na about preterm labor. Your doctor can check you properly at mabigyan ka ng peace of mind agad. Sending you love, I know ang anxiety ng pregnancy is real, lalo na kung may history ka na. You're doing great by being vigilant!
