Thawing of breastmilk

Hello! Quick question, I’m going back to work na. And I have my milk stash for my baby. Some are saying proper thawing of breastmilk is to bring it down from the freezer to the refrigerator, and should be consumed within 24 hrs. My question is, if I bring it out from the refrigerator how long can it stay at a room temperature? I remember that freshly expressed milk can stay up to 4 hrs into a room temp, but how about if it came already from the ref? #1stimemom #advicepls #theasianparentph

Pumping at work

Hi Mommies. I’m about to go back to work na. I work in a bank and we are required to wear PPE. My colleagues are saying not to pump there because it might be contaminated due to our current situations right now. However I will pump naman in our pantry area, from my bottle pump I will just change the lid and keep it agad inside my insulation bag. Do you think it will still be contaminated? If proper handling, i’m sure it will be fine. Just make sure to wash hands and yes to insulated bag instead of using the office ref. Maybe as additional measure, put bottle in ziplock bag already so you dont need to touch the bottle itself.

Infant Sleep hours

Hi Mommies! Question, my baby when she turned 6weeks ahe already sleeps 4-5 hrs then as weeks passed it became consistently 6-7hrs. But now that she’s on her 10th week she’s being awake again at night every 2-3hrs. Is it normal?#advicepls #theasianparentph

Post partum bleeding

Hello Mommies. Ganu po katagal usually ang post prtum bleeding? 8weeks nako after delivery pero still bleeding. On and off siya. Minsan mahina minsan malakas. Just don’t know if this is normal?

Sleep pattern of 7-week old baby

Hi! I have a 6-week old baby and she sleeps longer than usual now. My question is do we really need to wake them up every 2-3hrs to feed them? Thank you!

For me mommy, hindi ko ginigising baby ko para padedein. Hinahayaan ko lang sya matulog kasi kusang nagigising baby ko pag gutom na. Pero sa iba, sa mga nababasa ko ginigising nila baby nila para padedein dahil yun po ang sabi ng Pedia nila. Siguro mommy para makasigurado ka, ask mo na lang po Pedia ni baby hehe.

Hi breastfeeding Mommies. My baby is finally latching to me after a month of bottle feeding (mixed). My question is, super painful ng latching ni baby, any tips how I can fix this? Parang sa mismong nipples ko lang kasi siya naglalatch, and feeling ko kinakagat niya. Though I know naman na she gets enough milk kasi she pees and poop naman. Kaya lang sobrang painful to the extent na nakakanginig yung sakit. 😭#firstbaby

Normal yan mamsh. Ganyan talaga sa umpisa. Pag nakuha nya na ung tamang pag latch hindi na yan masakit. Make sure lang na tama ung pag latch nya.
