Delaying period

Hi mummies. I’m going for a staycation and it’ll be near my menses period. I don’t want to miss the chance to swim with my girl so I wanna delay it. Any idea how can I go about it? Do I need to go GP or gynae to take the pill?? Will the menses cycle be like mess up or will it affect getting pregnant in future?

Can request noresthisterone pills from GP. It depends on individual, my mum’s menses came after she stopped whereas mine got delayed even when I stopped the pills. No affect if you take it for a short period I guess?

My baby hates drinking water

My baby is 8 months old, I started feeding her some water when she was 4 months old when she started semi solid. She doesn’t really like drinking water; be it from milk bottle, or sippy cup. She’ll drink when we uses spoon to feed her. Is there any method that I can have her to drink water easily??

don't stop offering her. can start from milk bottle or straw / sippy cup. offer her few times every day. also drink in a straw cup beside her. i did that and slowly my baby followed. took some time but if u offer every now and then there will be progress. dont give up.

Crawling and standing

Is it normal for infant to skip crawling and went straight to standing up? My girl is 7 month 12 days old and she stood up on her own today while holding the side of her play pen. She can move on her tummy; not forward but backwards and she’ll at times move about using her backside. Is it true that baby who skipped crawling and cruising will have development issues like balancing etc? Should I be concern that she’s not crawling and/or cruising and went straight to standing?

nothing to worry about in my family all 4 of us did not crawl, but with my 1st daughter she crawl than walk. Perfectly ok
