Vacuum Delivery

Ah sis, vacuum delivery is actually considered an assisted delivery, hindi normal delivery, pero okay lang yan, nangyari din sa marami namin! The vacuum helps guide baby out when mom's pushing isn't enough or baby needs help to come out faster, usually because mom's tired na or baby's heart rate needs monitoring. Recovery-wise para sa baby, meron lang usually slight bruising or marks sa head (caput succedaneum) na mawawala after few days, walang lasting effects usually. Para sa iyo as mom, similar recovery lang sa normal but your pelvic floor and perineum might need extra care since may tension pa rin. Best talaga na idiscuss mo with your OB kung ano exactly ang nangyari during your delivery para alam mo kung paano mag-recover properly at kung may specific aftercare needed!
