Hi mummies, any ideas how to minimise kids from getting sick in school? My infant joined the school two days and he is back with flu and slight fever! Told the teacher to ensure toddler wont be in contact with my son but they replied they try not to place them face to face-.- my boy has not complete his vaccination im so worried:(

Dear mummies, How u feel when u need to put ur kid in infant care? Mine is 4months today is full day in infant care, im so worried and guilty:( but there is no one able to help and my maternity leave is used up.

Don’t feel guilty fellow mama. Let baby interact with other babies

I just gave the school everything. Then write in the notebook. The teacher settle everything herself.

Hi mummies, can anyone advice how to remedy neck rash? I read online, keep it dry at all times but its quite hard. There is some kind of fluid or infection on the neck. Thanks !

I use my diaper rash cream it works on most rash

Use Mustela foam shampoo for newborn. It will be gone in a couple of days.

My nb baby hiccups very often. Is this normal?

Hiccups in newborns could be cause by the same few reasons as an adult, such as eating too much, swallowing air while chewing, being anxious or excited. An infant may swallow some air while nursing and that may give raise to hiccups. Hence, it is important to burp the baby after each feeding to get ride of any air in the stomach. In general, hiccups in newborns and babies are common. However, if your baby’s hiccups continue for hours, you should seek advice from your doctor. Some conditions like gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) or a tumor or cyst in the throat may present symptoms like long-term hiccups. Hiccups usually will go off on its own. You can try soothing your baby by rocking or providing a gentle back rub. Just take note if it is taking unusually long for the hiccup to go away and give your doctor a call if required.
