Aaah 12 weeks, congrats mama! Ang ganda talaga ng pregnancy journey, from poppyseed to may buwan na sariling heartbeat, parang magic talaga! Enjoy this exciting phase kasi mabilis lang mawawala, at from experience ang second trimester is when you'll start feeling more energetic (hopefully walang nausea pa haha). You're doing amazing already!

Constipation tips please

Hello mom friends! What’s the best constipation relief/meds that is pregnancy safe?(first trimester)and is OTC? 😭My OB is not yet available today to answer this question for me Sana may maka sagot hereeeeee PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 😭 help ya girl out. Thank you TAP community 🙏🏼

Aw mama, constipation in first trimester is SO common kaya don't worry ka, marami sa amin napasa yan! Best safe OTC option na alam ko is stool softeners like docusate (mas gentle than laxatives), at pati na rin yung fiber supplements, a few of us tried Benefiber or psyllium husk and okay lang for pregnancy. Pero honestly, laging better na double-check with your OB once available, kahit OTC, para sigurado sa dosage at kung okay talaga for your specific situation. In the meantime, drink lots of water, eat more fruits, at walk around kung kaya mo, those things really helped din sa mga kaibigan ko! Hoping makaramdam ka ng relief soon, mama.
