Are baby headbands safe for newborns? A practical checklist

A baby headband looks adorable in photos. Before you buy one for a newborn, though, keep these points in mind: - Supervise, always. Take the headband off for naps, at night and in the car seat. It's for awake, supervised time only. - Stretch, not squeeze. A newborn headband should be soft and stretchy, and it should leave no red mark. If you can't slide a finger under it easily, it's too tight. - Sit it low on the forehead/hairline, not over the soft spot, and check it often. - Secure decorations. Bows and flowers should be firmly stitched on. Tug them gently before every use. Skip loose beads or sequins for tiny babies. - Soft fabric. Choose nylon or cotton blends with no rough seams or scratchy glue edges. - Short sessions. Photos, a family function, a short outing. Then take it off. Sizing tip: newborn heads grow fast, so measure the head circumference every month or so and size up. Pale yellow potty

My baby is doing pale yellow potty. I visited doctor he just asked from how many days he is doing this and then said its okay...but i am worried bcoz google says pale yellow is sign of liver problems..plz help

Vascular malformation/hemangioma

Hi, i am a worried mum as my baby was diagnosed with a vascular malformation on the foot and subsequently a hemangioma on the arm. Wondering if anyone has faced similar situation and how did it go with your little ones?

My friend’s baby had a hemangioma too mama 🥺 It looked very scary at first because it grew quite fast during infancy, but thankfully many hemangiomas do shrink/fade over time with monitoring 😊 Usually the most important thing is regular follow up to monitor size, growth, ulceration or whether it affects movement/function. Some babies need treatment, some just observation depending on location and type. Understandably very stressful as a parent 😭 but many babies with hemangiomas still do very well

Baby passport for jb confinement

Anyone got tips how to quickly get the baby passport? How do u get baby eyes open? Is it apply online, go down and appeal? Do I need to print out the photo? Very stressed over the logistics and trying to get it all done in one day so can go jb upon discharged

for my first born, i brought him to the picture taking place. i made sure he just wake up from a nap so we can have a good timing when he wants to open his eyes. it might take awhile but it works
