I am 17mths post-partum and have been fully bfing my daughter. My menses came back when I was 9mths pp. Since last Monday, I noticed my milk supply has dropped from usual 360ml to only 290ml (when I pump at work). I am not an oversupply mom to start with. Any idea why the drastic drop in supply? Is it possible to build back my supply or can I re-establish my supply? Thanks!

Drop in prolactin levels is quite likely to be the explanation here. At 17mo, you should focus on encouraging your bub on solids and take the stress away from your pump output.

I am 11 weeks pp, and have been exclusively pumping for a month. I would like to try to latch again.. anyone has success after exclusively pumping for a while?

Any mummies facing their LO wanting to latch non stop at night to sleep. My LO is 5 months old. Thinking that he is asleep after latching for an hour.. I unlatch him and he wakes up immediately. Tried pacifiers, but he can't seem to keep it in his mouth and that frustrated him even more. I need advice pls.. My back is killing me from latching all night long! Thanks!!

Always ensure baby is not given small pieces of food, rather chunks f carrots, brocolli or even apples.

how much EBM is a baby who is 11weeks old to have. note he is a preemie.. so by his edd he would be 8 weeks old

Ladies, how much breastmilk does your 4mo baby take a day or per feeding session? Mine is about 105ml/session, interval of 3 hr. I read that the BM intake for 1 to 6 mo baby is about the same. In other words, a breastfed baby takes in roughly the same amount, regardless of his/her weight and age, between 1 to 6 mo. Did I misinterpret it? Thanks!

Is it normal to not feel engorged at night?

Doesn't mean ss is regulated? Cos I can pump out in the day with the same amount everytime.

May I know is there any daily balance diet sample for 6-7month baby? My LO has fully breastfed for 6 month. Just started solids for 2 weeks.

This isn't a schedule but it's a list of good first foods for baby. We didn't really plan our baby's meals. Just made sure that we had these ingredients around and prepared them in different ways (steam, roast, etc) then blended or mashed to a consistency that she liked. Also did our best to balance protein, veggies/carbs, fruit.

anyone experiencing fluctuating milk supply? i pump every 5hrs. recently during my 4pm pump i may get only around 4oz but at my 9pm pump i get abt 10oz! big difference! pump duration is abt the same- ard 30 to 45mins. i dn take anything special to boost supply. what could be causing this? n will it last?

You may have consumed a milk booster unknowingly?

My LO 4mo now and recently he refuse bottle feeding and all he want is DL, last time he ok with the MAM bottle but now nearly one week don't want drink from bottle, im ard working now so when im not around he didn't take any milk and sleep whole day, will it affect his growth?any solution so that he will not reject the bottle?

I guess this is milk strike? you might want to try Pigeon SS teat, which is what I'm using for my 4 month old.
