Hi mummies, is it normal? My right one is not working! Left one around 80-90ml.. max is 140ml. I do not wish to stop my breastfeeding journey so soon! Anyone can help? LO is 7mo now. She will cry for more before sleep but I just comfort her to sleep. And she will keep waking 2-3hourly at night not sure is it hungry?

My baby is also 7 mths. Still on breastfeeding. Something i get this type of yield too. Fret not! Get baby to latch on dat side to stimulate milk again. It will work.

Can someone share on how do you empty or make sure your breasts are empty? Be it latching or pumping? How do you know it's emptied?

For latching, you will feel your breast turns softer compared to before latching. If your baby doesn't drink much, you can try to pump out after latching to empty your boob so to stimulate more milk supply.

Im a fully bf mom..my lo wudnt drink milk from the bottle.i am down with fever n runny nose.i understand we cn take panadol.what abt for flu?any idea what meds we can take?

When I'm sick even with fever I still latch my girl ! I will take antihistamines like Zyrtec and also supplement myself with vitamin c it helps alot

How many ml per milk bag do you freeze? If you go by 100ml, what do you do with the excess little 30-50 ml?

I freeze up to 400ml in a bag .

Does a new mum really need a bottle and breastmilk warmer?

I find it convenient to have it, but not a necessary item. In fact, just put a glass of warm water and it is faster that way :)

For breastfeeding mummies, can share your quick fix lunch? Especially for days that you're taxed with an uncomfy baby during lunch hour or you have had a heavy breakfast but still wish to have something nutritious & enough to last till dinner time. Thanks! So far, i'll make avocado milkshake, banana, oat biscuits, yogurt, almond nuts, cereal drink/milo/milk (whatever combi i deem like) - i.e.food that i have which are available at home.

I'll usually have cereal, oats or pre made sandwiches with ham and avocado. simple and nutritious. I take lots of wheat biscuits and wholemeal bread in between meal times if I'm hungry. Fruits are good too.

I'm going back to work soon . Can the mummies share how you wash the pump parts in the office and how to transport the milk back home fresh ? What kind of cooler bags do you use ?

What I usually do is keep the pump parts in the fridge after use. For second pump, I'll just reuse the same pump parts. Except bottles because my milk are for next day use so I'll bring 4-5 bottles to work per day. I'm using Medela (square) cooler bag to transport my milk.

My lo currently 6mo( corrected age is 4mo), this few days his lip cracked and will bleeding when he cry,is it the sign of dehydration?im fully breastfeed him so it means that he not getting enough breastmilk?im seldom give him water because hear that fully breastfeed baby don't need water.So should i give him some water or just apply lip balm like vaseline on his lip?

did you check his diaper output? If his diaper output is normal, then it's not dehyration. Apply some BM on his lips.
