Not sure why am I anti-formula milk lots may be because of I'm breastfeeding. Planning what should I give my LO after stop breastfeeding. Fresh cow milk or Goat miIK? are there have enough nutrition?

After 1 year fresh milk is ok. Any reason why you are so anti formula?

I noticed my breast is bigger, painful and swelling on one side. What should I do? I tried expressing the milk but there seems to be no milk already but i still feel very painful. The bigger breast has more milk supply compared to the other one.

Apply warm pack to reduce the swelling and comb breast downwards to "loosen" the milk supply. Can also try letichin tablet (buy from Guardian) to thin the milk so can come out easier. It's soya based natural, so don't need to worry about chemical hurting your body.

Any mummy use tollyjoy electric breast pump? How is it?

I'm currently 8weeks pp and my period seem to be back. I'm currently doing a mixed feeding, more of bf. Is it possible to know if it's period or if my lo chia has resumed? My lochia kind of ended during my 3rd week pp. thanks.

It is a higher possibility that its your period. Nevertheless, i suggest its best to return to your gynae and check up. Mean while continue monitering.

What's the WORST breastfeeding crisis you ever had?

This didn't happen to me but it still freaked me out a little. I was on the way out to meet a friend when I received a phone call from her. She told me to bring an extra t-shirt or jacket out and meet her at the handicapped toilet near her work place. Turns out that she was super engorged and did not bring her pump out with her. She was only working for a few hours then and thought that she could go through the day without lugging her pump. So she planned to hand express her milk into some storage bags (lucky she had those) and dispose of them. The thing is, she decided that THAT DAY was the day to try hand expressing for the first time, in a public bathroom. She ended up squirting all over her top. She was in pain, distressed and her clothes were ruined when I finally found her. We cancelled our plans and went to her place to lament (and laugh) over what happened. Since then, she does not go anywhere without her breast pump.

My baby is 2mths 24days now... I have low supply of breast milk. Very keen to get milk supplement from other mummies rather then top up with FM. but my worries is how would I know is the milk safe to consume ? e.g is the mummy in healthy condition ? How was the milk being handled ? etc...

Hi, I'm a oversupply mummy. I can donate some breastmilk to you if you need them. :)

How do I start building my stash now? I'm exclusively direct latching and I'm not able to express enough after lo latches on. Maximum volume I can express is 50ml after he latch. I'm gg on trip in early September and I have only 10 packs of ebm now

You can try this method while latching your baby pump another side ,it works for me try out,do drink more water too good luck to you

Hi! My mum keep nagging that it's my breastmilk that cause baby to have cough and phelgm. & discourage me from breastfeeding. What is your opinions mummies ?

My boy is 20 months old and is being 100% breastfed. He still wakes up once or twice in the night to nurse, sometimes I think for comfort and we stopped letting him use the pacifier. I want to slowly start letting him take formula and using milk bottle. Any experienced mummy can advise how I should introduce him to bottle feeding and milk formula?

U can try once every night 1st. Try to hv mixed feeding then gradually increase to fully formula if u 1. However, would rather u give expressed breast milk in bottle to baby instead.
