how do if my baby has allergy to something i ate? he has these red bumps on his body ad i am not sure why.

Is this the first time this has happened? If so, did you eat anything out of the ordinary in large quantities? If a breastfed baby is sensitive to a particular food, he may be fussy after feedings, cry inconsolably for long periods, or sleep little and wake suddenly with obvious discomfort. Reactions to certain foods may occur within minutes, but symptoms in breastfed babies usually show up 4 to 24 hours after ingestion. If baby indeed has an acute reaction to a new type of food, or to a food that mom ate a large amount of, then he will probably be back to normal within a couple of hours. If this happens persistently, then best to approach doctor and try to narrow down what exactly baby might be allergic to.

I have breast milk pack in the chiller for about 4 days , which I won't be using already. Can I put them into freezer today ? Or have to discard it ;(

Smell the milk . If it smell not right , pls discard it .

Dear Mummies, I have been latching my 3mo daughter to sleep until earlier this week, where she keeps wanting to suck fingers to sleep. And when she couldn't place her fingers successfully into her mouth, she would kick up a fuss n cry.. The same cycle would happen over n over again.. End up every night she fell to sleep due to tiredness from those crying sessions. I tried to introduce all kinds of pacifier, from Avent to NUK, but she rejected all of them. How can I get her to use pacifier instead of fingers? I'm totally at a loss right now.. I feel like I'm in a battlefield every night.

Why don't you keep her swaddled? We still swaddle our baby to bed

I contracted viral fever and while it has only been a day, I wonder if I should continue breastfeeding. Please advice.

Yes, it is safe to breastfeed your baby if you have a viral fever. Your illness will not transfer to your baby through breastmilk. Your milk contains antibodies. Through your milk, you give your baby immunities to illnesses to which you are immune and also those to which you have been exposed.

If i continue to feed my girl ebm, wil she stil gt close to me wen i return to work ?

If i feed her ebm thru bottle , dn when im hme , wil she latch properly ? Or wil she hav nipple confusion?

I have this hard lump on one of my breast and it is sore when I touched it or during breastfeeding. is this considered blocked duct? any remedy to relief this?

u can use hot towel to compress it n squeeze out.

Mummies wan ask , my girl just have her immunisation today .. Is on both thigh, now she been cryin on off .. Isit normal ? Do i hav to consult a doc?

Intermittent crying is normal as your girl just went through something unpleasant. Just to highlight, if you baby’s starts having a fever which persist after 24 hours or if he/she is persistently crying, have fits or have inflammation at the injection site, better bring your baby to the doctor for further checks. Otherwise, just offer lots of cuddles and attention to help calm her. Hope she feels better soon!

Get it from qoo10. It is so much cheaper and is direct from S.Korea. Ive gotten mine from there! They have a korean manual but the supplier is able to provide an english copy. Got mine for $129.90 3 mths ago.

Hi mummies, Im using spectra flange with autumnz bottles and they are working fine except today when it is impossible to screw them tight. I've touched both the flange & bottle to check if it is due to greasiness, but there isnt. I've also swop the flange & bottles trying to find out which part has gone wrong but its the same, both loose. What could be the problem? Thank you!

Not sure what went wrong with yours. But my friend mentioned that her autumnz bottle didn't fit well with her sprectra pump, so she bought an adapter. Though I doubt yours is the same issue since yours could fit well initially. Hope other mummies could shed some light on this..
