Portable breast pump?

I have bought a Spectra S1+ and am unsure if I should still get a portable electric dual pump for work, travel, etc. please recommend! TIA

Portable ones like S9 or medela freestyle. S1 can put at home, cos bulky. Its more convenient to bring electric pump, not so tiring..

Period during breastfeeding

Is it possible to have period when I am still breastfeeding? I am giving my baby formula+breastmilk. I am a low supply mummy, will the starting of period cause further dip in my supply? ?

Yes its posdible to have menses during your breast feeding. Low supply shouldn't link with your menses, u have to rest more, drink more fluid, eat fish, papaya soup, and let bb lacth, pump more frequently to make more supply. You gotta be happy, n positive :) dont stress

Breast swollen engorge

Hi all, I am a new one week old mum. I didnt breastfeed my baby when she was born last week two days in the hospital. She refused to latch. My breast is very hard, swollen and hard. When I back home the 3rd day, I pumped milk for her. Roughly 6 to 8 times. I massage my breasts with warm water before each pump and put cold cabbage after pump. Till date still very swollen. I very worried it will lead to complications. Any good advices for me? Thank you

Just curious. How do mummies store ebm when the amt varies per session? Each session per bottle or pour them to the fullest per day?

blood in pumped milk

Saw doc last week due to clogged duct and fever and doc said likely mastitis due to cracked nipple. Was given oral and topical antibiotics. Just finished the oral antibiotics. During my last pump, i noticed a milk blister.. Hand expressed and some stucked milk came out tgt with some blood. After that the milk was clear. Applied antibiotics cream given by gp. During latest pump, i used the lowest pump setting. Got 40ml of strawberry milk from affected breast and the milk is normal thereafter. Should i see doctor again?

spectra M1 vs S9

I bought a M1 over the S9 at baby recent august expo baby fair. Was told that suction of M1 is much better then S9. However wife used it. And it feels just pathetic :/ We used a S1 at home and though of buying a portable model, hence the purchase. Anyone have comments on s9 :/

I used S9 and it was good. Suction is good and quiet.
