Can eat Mala while breast feeding ?

Hi Mummies, I am 2 months postpartum and currently latching/pumping. Lately craving for nice Mala hot pot. Can I have it while breastfeeding or is it not good for milk production ? #advicepls #FTM

Can, but becareful of mastitis. Once in awhile is fine I guess? I eat mala like 1-2 times a week then stop for a week… ended up still have mastitis 😂. So everytime I have mala I end up with mastitis.

Changing breast pump for better results

Hi Mummies, I am thinking to change my breast pump from Pigeon gomini to some other pump. Reason being less production from Pigeon. Every pumping, I can only get 40 ml out and if I handexpress, I can get 60 ml more. This is making me think if the pigeon pump is not good so May be I need to change the pump. I have tried multiple flanges and still no improvement. Anyone experienced this ? Did changing the pump lead to better production ? #firsttimemom #pleasehelp #FTM

Imani hands free pump

Hihi! Anyone using imani hands free pump? Any tips to increase the yield? Imani gave me half of what spectra could produce. Thinking of how to increase the yield with imani.

I’m having the same issue now! Wondering if you managed to figure out why?

Breast pump storage

Im a ftm. How do you usually wash & store your breastpump at work after every session? After session, wash with soap, dry with tissue (?), and can just store in ziplock for next use ? Is it necessary to sterilise ? Since we wont have steriliser outside or at work. #FTM

I’m returning to work in about 3 months time. I’m using the Imani i2 so I’ll keep a pair of collection cups in the office exclusively for office use so I don’t need to carry it to and fro. Planning to wash and air dry after pumping, then sterilise using the Baby Express portable UV bag.

Stop breastfeeding, guilty or not guilty

I just gave birth 2 weeks ago, and I want to stop my breastmilk so badly. With the engorged pain, having to wake up every few hours to pump, and taking care of baby... I'm feeling all the anxiety and frustration. My friend made me feel guilty that why I didn't pull through the tiredness and give my baby breastmilk as it is the best for my baby. As my confinement ends in another 2 more weeks, my husband and my mum will not be around and I have to take care 24/7 of my baby with no help. I can't imagine to be taking care of my baby alone, with all the engorged pain and having to pump every hours. Am I being a bad mum for not pulling through the tiredness to give my baby breastmilk?

I understand what you are feeling. I also have no additional help but I direct latch. the only motivation to continue with breastfeeding is the money for formula. lol

11 weeks old rejecting bottle

Hi Mummies, My 11 weeks old boy has suddenly started hating bottles. I have used MAM bottle since about 3 weeks, but now he is just straight up refusing, even when I know he is hungry. He would latch instead. From 3 weeks onwards it has been a mix of bottle feed and latch but now he is not taking bottle at all :( I love that mom is comfort, but I go back to work in 3 weeks and am wanting a smooth transition! What do I do? Any tips. I am really worried #firsttimemom #firstbaby

Hi mommies…pls suggest best playgroups for 2 year old

Oh I totally understand the feeling, when my son was turning two, I was also scrambling to figure out the best options and it felt a little overwhelming at first! We ended up trying Gymboree Play & Music and he really took to the structured sessions, loved how they mixed movement with music at that age. From what I've heard around, Julia Gabriel Centre is quite well-regarded for their approach to communication and play, and The Little Jungle comes up a lot too for being a warm, nurturing environment. My friend enrolled her daughter at Kindermusik with Rosie Tee and said the sessions were lovely for building confidence through music, especially for the quieter kids. Some mums I know also really liked MuckyPups Messy Play for something more relaxed and sensory-focused, great for two-year-olds who just want to explore freely, though a few felt it was better as a complement to a more structured programme rather than a standalone. Hope you find one that clicks for your little one, trust your gut when you visit, because the vibe of the place really does matter!

Hi mamas! While massaging my boobs, I noticed that there are many small lumps. Are these clogged ducts? How should I remove them as I think it is affecting my supply. It is not painful though.

Use epsom salt and warm water, tilt boobs in it. Do hand compress, pump, latch. Continue to do so till the lump/clump/engorge around boobs area subside.
