Anxiety on pumping schedule at work

Does anyone has anxiety over pumping schedule at work? I'm in a job where I have lots of regional meetings and it's of different timings everyday. I found it hard to have a regular pumping schedule as I have already decreased my sessions to x4 a day (x2 at work) and sometimes I pump more than 6 hours. Just lots of anxiety and worried that it will affect my supply. My environment also made it tough to opt for wearable pump.

I totally understand that pressure, because the anxiety itself can actually affect let-down and supply more than the occasional stretched interval. What helped me was being honest with my manager that I needed two fixed blocks in my calendar, even if the rest of the day shifted around meetings, so the gaps stayed roughly manageable. It is not always perfect, but protecting even one anchor pump time gave me less to worry about mentally, which honestly mattered as much as the schedule itself.

Nipple thrush / pain

Baby is about 3 weeks old. Past few days she has been really fussy when trying to latch. My nipples are cracked. I apply some breast milk on the cracks. When dried it has a layer that is crusty. Is not like the other non cracks area that has dried breast milk. Is it nipple thrush? I’m so scared. I checked my baby’s mouth and it looks fine. Please help advise on what I should do and what it may be.. my nipple hurts…☹️#firsttimemom #advicepls

While I can't answer for the thrush portion, on your cracked nipples, do consider getting silverettes. These are silver nursing cups that helps to heal the nipples. I injured my nipples using the wrong size flange and the silverettes were so helpful in healing them. Just squeeze a drop or two of breast milk in the cup and wear them on your nipple in your bra.

Fruit that will Decrease milk supply

Hi mummies, will watermelon and mangosteen decrease milk supply? As I know that these fruit are belongs to 'cold 寒' type of fruit. #pleasehelp #advicepls

I had watermelon a few times, seems to be ok. I heard white color vegetables are to be avoided too, but I had taugeh and that seemed to be fine too.

Stop breastfeeding?

Anyone stopped breastfeeding at 4-5m postpartum? I've always been a just-enough supply mum and my supply dropped tremendously recently. I'm 4.5m post partum and find it stressful and tiring to continue. But i also feel guilty for wanting to stop. Not sure if I should take this "opportunity" to slowly stop breastfeeding? Just want to hear from fellow mums on their dilemma and what is the eventual choice taken.

I'm trying to stop now too..
