Anyone gave birth at parkway east recently? Can share ur total cost for natural birth? My gynae is Dr Natalie. But wanted to ensure how much i should standby cash after medisave. Thank u FTM.

Yes, you can. It helps you esp if you are nearing to EDD.

34 weeks 6 days pregnant

Hi mummies, my stomach get really hard like rock and I have difficulties walking. Is it normal? And I also experience sudden lightning pain to my vagina is it normal too?

Yes it’s normal. Just try to do walking at least 30 mins every 2 days. Get that sweat off & u will feel better.

Same.. unable to focus anything and getting tired and sleepy easily. I guess it’s the 3rd trimester thing 😵‍💫

How to tell visitors the boundaries I have set for my baby?

As the pandemic continues to evolve and flue virus spreading together will tonnes of other diseases like EBV, I’m concerned for my newborn. How can I tell visitors that they should only visit if they’re well, and I will be providing masks and hand sanitizer as they will be expected to be in mask and have their hands sanitized at all times when they are near my baby and myself? And also, how do I tell visitors that I’m not comfortable with them holding my baby or kissing him? I don’t want to hurt the feelings of my visitors. I do appreciate them taking time to visit, but I feel I need to take these precautions just in case. Or am I thinking too much?

no you’re not thinking too much, it’s natural to worry and understandable to have all these precautions. i reminded visitors to wash hands (and feet) once entering the house, and if they want to kiss, just say no kissing, even i don’t kiss baby like that. you can carrier baby so they have no chance to carry!

Can you share experience of induced labour and how it works? Wanted to go for that

gynae will break your water bag and wait for cervix to dilate. but this option can go up to 24 hours or more.

Cannot work/focus on work at week 35

Hi mummies, my brain is mush these days and I have officially checked out of my job (just doing bare minimum WFH until maternity leave)... all I can think of is baby and baby stuff. Anyone also like this? #firsttimemom

Same here, no mood to work but have to. Gonna tahan till ML start.

Should I be worried that my girl 4mo seldom makes any sound and laugh without sound too?

Can see she is trying but just no sound came out most of the time.

I would definitely get her checked out by a paediatrician.
