Spotting with slight pelvic discomfort

Hi Mommies, I'm on my 10th week and i woke up this morning with spotting maybe about 2-3 drops of red blood and slight discomfort near my right pelvic bone. Is it a concern? Should i visit the OG for check up or should i monitor first? I think it is still on going, i got hints of spotting on my panty liner as i was just about to leave the house to work.

If you have spotting, feeling uncomfortable, visit OG to have it check to ensure it is all good and okay. Dont delay.

Week 13+3 absent nasal bone

Went for my FTS ultrasound and doctor broke the news to me that I might have 1:122 high risk of having Down syndrome baby as my baby's nasal bone can't be seen. Other than that, everything looks normal. Can i know any mummies experienced this news before but got a healthy baby at the end? Oh yes, i was 3days late taking my multivits and fish oil, could it be the reason the nasal bone maybe not fully developed yet? 😔 I couldn't hold back my tears when I heard this, I just can't believe what i heard. I took a harmony test and now i have to wait for 2 weeks. The staff said if theres no calls given before 2 weeks means nothing major happened. If calls received before 2 weeks meaning something happen. I hate this feeling and i wanna quickly get over it.

no it has nothing to do with whether u take multivits or fish oil or not.. some mummies don’t take anything at all but still have healthy children. do wait for harmony test. mine was high risk for thick NT and even did amnio, i feel your pain of waiting

Lower back and left thigh pain

Hi mamas, I am a first time mum. I'm at the 9th week of my pregnancy. I've been getting bouts of sharp pain in my lower back and left thigh. This happens when I'm lying down and I try to turn. Sometimes the pain is so sharp and intense I'm unable to turn to rest on my side. Is this normal or should I seek medical attention for this? Has any of you experienced this before? Would appreciate any advice!!

If you are feeling the uncomfortness, you should let your doctor/gynae know about it and they can further access it to ensure you are okay.

Cannot swallow multivitamin and fish oil pills - anyone tried chewable options?

I always have a fear of swallowing pills, and I just can’t swallow my fish oil, multivitamin, calcium pills etc. I will try so many times to no avail and make my stomach very bloated with all the water. Even after cutting in half, I still can’t swallow cos of phobia. Tried crushing and mixing with water, but I threw it up the moment I swallowed it down. Anyone tried chewable options that’s as effective, or have a way around it? Thanks!

Is it safe to take gavinscon

I've been eating very heavy meal and feeling nauseous not sure is it indigestion or morning sickness. Can i take gavinscon double action liqiud? It stated its safe for pregnancy though but any mummies took gavinscon during week 12 too?
