Stressed mother :"(

Hi mummies..i just want to let it out here. I'm a first time mother. My husband starts work today after 1 month leave. My baby is turning 1 month in a few days. He left in the morning and i'm now alone for the first time with my baby and for the first time he was really fussy, cranky, crying non stop. All needs were met. Room/home temperature was good. I gave him comfort. Affection. Everything but nothing seems to work. He is finally sleeping now after so many attempt, for hours, of trying. Even left him alone to calm myself before attending to him again. I'm just so stressed and it's only day 1 of being alone with my baby. I have forever. I'm scared it won't get better.😔

It is normal for all new mummies to feel that way. Trust your motherly instinct. It could be of any reason baby gets fussy, cranky and pretty normal. No baby is easy to handle. It is all about trust, learning process, trial and error as well as learning from others (what's good to take in). Don't be disheartened or upset okay. You can do it dear ❤

Massage for newborn

Hi moms, my newborn is 18 days old. Is it ok to do for him massage and use binder? I'm a first time mom do advise..thank u❤

Little bumps on forehead

Anyone can enlighten me what is these little bumps on the forehead? Is like pimples growing out with pus. Need to see doc or any lotion that we can apply to get rid of the bumps

On your LO's forehead? It could just be baby acne. It's common and perfectly normal. Just wipe the baby's face 2-3 times daily with cotton wool and cool boiled water.

Hello, If there are moms who delivered baby recently with postive covid at NUH ?

please advise whether the hospitals allow; - for husband to participate in labor & stay at delivery suite?

me when i was giving birth i have positive covid .but my husband accompany me in the isolation room . But they just say don't go out from the isolation room just stay inside.

Mom who is working and taking care of all other stuff with baby

Not easy, I teach and have no help from anyone. Drop off my infant by 715 and rush to work. Come back home to fetch my infant, settle lunch dinner, basically be a mom and wife and repeat. It’s tiring.

How to know if baby doesn't like the taste of formula? Baby is currently 1 month old. formula fed since birth. changed to grow formula yesterday, since he was on soy milk for two weeks due to diarrhea. and also, how to know if baby doesn't like the bottle? was using avent size (0), initially it was ok but suddenly the flow was too fast for him, (didn't change the teat at all). now changed to pigeon size (ss).

baby just needs to get used to it.. maybe the soy milk is more diluted so the flow becomes unsuitable.

Postpartum Acne

Anybody experience postpartum acne?? I’m 6 weeks postpartum. I’m having terrible acne on my face, neck, chest and back. It’s killing me slowly… Is there any medicine to cure it? Or any remedies to intro? Please help me 😭

I’m so sorry you are going through this. I also have had chronic acne since teen years and after giving birth it was so so bad. I actually struggled through it although I was so tempted to consult a private dermatologist. I didn’t because I was so tired w taking care of baby. I actually bought otc skin care products frm the famous Niks clinic online. Just the acne face wash and glycolic acid and acne gel. I got the trial kit first. But I did not consult a doctor which I have to caution esp if u are breastfeeding. It didn’t not cure it completely but it got a bit better after 2-3 weeks

rash, allergic or eczema?

Hi mummies, need ur help, im exclusively bf my 25days infant. he is having this rashes and it gotten worst today (the blue colour clothing photo). we have a appointment to pd next monday for checkup. is this heat rash, allergic reaction to breastmilk or eczema.
