KKh subsidized route: Scans

Hello, I'm under kkh subsidized route and aware that I cannot choose my doctor etc. My upcoming checkup is arranged only with doctor then subsequent 1 mth later, then detailed scan. However I have been having bleeding here and there for days on and off last 2 weeks... can I request to top up for a scan? Anyone has made such request previously? #advicepls #firstbaby #firsttimemom #pleasehelp

Frequent stomache

Any ideas if frequent stomache likely caused by constipations and indigestion would harm my fetus? I am currently at Week 16 and had stomache almost once every 3-4 days. Worst still sometimes I don’t know if the pain comes from my lower tummy or not.

Mil did not give us anyth for the wedding

We had a simple ROM recently and prior to that,. my mom asked my inlaws to get me gold that does not need to be that expensive, just the thought that count. Not necessarily 四点金… But we ended up not receiving anything from in laws during our wedding, except two angbao during the tea ceremony. How would you all feel? #advicepls

Like that lo. Even if they don’t give angbao what can we say? My mil nice is say help to fork out a portion for my wedding, end up when opening all the angbao she also ask us to return her whatever she paid. 看开一点

So many questions

Hello fellow mummies, I’m currently 13 weeks and 4 days pregnant (1st pregnancy) and I’m feeling so many different things. Can any mummies who experienced the same thing share your experience? 1. My first Pee in the morning is so slow and it always starts off with just a few drops. 2. My stomach is huge at 13 weeks! Should this be a concern??? I think I look more like 4/5 months into the pregnancy 3. I can feel my stomach stretch, but more so at the top, above the belly button! I saw a few posts where mummies said they felt it more at the bottom. 4. How do you know that your baby is growing well? 😭

Do you eat a lot? I think your gynae could advise better… Try to control on the diet a little, drink more water and cut down on sugary stuff…

90 percent gender confirmation

I’m 15 weeks and 4 days today and went for my routine scan, my Gynae tried to find the gender but baby’s leg was tightly close, after trying moving a bit, with a little luck, my Gynae told me he has a gut feeling is a boy, so he kept it as 90percent boy, 100percent confirmation during next appointment. Has anyone else experienced this? And was there a change in the gender between the first and second time?

I don't experience it. But, my mother did. With one of my siblings that the first two check was a girl but the last check it was confirm a boy.

Any moms to be eating junk like me?

Hi, I'm at week 9-10. And I know I'm supposed to be eating healthily. I try but sometimes I end up with McDonald's, burger, pastas or eating fried food. Not everyday but pretty often. Like twice to thrice a week? It's crazy that my appetite is so monstrous. When i catch myself eating unhealthily, I try to make up by eating some fruits and drinking alot of water. I'm just worried this will affect my baby's health. I know this diet is not the best and not advisable. But Is this okay? Will my baby be OK?

Im in my 14th week and i think thru out, ive been eating more junks than healthy food and i cant help it.

Lower back and belly pain

Hello fellow preggies im on week 13,and im experiencing lower back pain and belly pain. At the same time im having shortness of breath. Is this normal? #firsttimemom #advicepls

Im in my 14th week and been having the same issue since my 11th week😣 went to gynae and everything was fine. I guess its just your body growing and adapting to the baby and uterus growing. If it gets unbearable, do go to gynae

Flu during pregnancy

Hi mummies, what to do if having flu during pregnancy. Got headache and running nose, temperature at first 37.8 and then test again is 37.4 Thank you!

take plain paracetamol and rest. see a GP if u need medication

Bleeding at 10 weeks and at 13 weeks

I had heavy bleeding in my 10 weeks. I bled thru 4 maternity pads. Dr said thst baby is fine. It is a threatened miscarriage. Dr sent me home with duphaston 3x/day. Once my duphaston finished, after three days, bleeding reoccured again. This time my pad was 3/4 soaked. Came back to the clinic and another Dr said thst baby is also fine. It is a threatened miscarriage. If it reoccurs again, then there might progress to a miscarriage. Its devastating to here this. Anyone experienced this and what was your experience like?

I had a friend who had same situation with you. Unfortunately, she had two miscarriage. She too was given same medication and after the medication finished, she will start to have bleeding. Sometimes this happened either because we are active, we sont bed rest or our uterus/womb aint strong enough causing the threaten miscarriage.
