Intimacy after childbirth

Hi mummies, First time mummy here. Curious to know when did you feel ready to get intimate with your husband again after childbirth? How do you know if you are ready mentally, emotionally and physically (how can you tell if your body has healed fully?). How does it feel like to engage sexually for the first time after childbirth? Appreciate any sharing of past experiences!

My LO is 10 weeks old and he has been crying 2-3h after taking his milk. We will sit him more upright and he will fart and feel better but still cries after Is he gassy? He doesn't have much milk spit ups

it’s colic and very normal.

3 month old to IFC

My LO is starting IFC on 1st November, he'd be slightly over 3 month old by then. I will be returning back to work on 2nd November. How long did your LO take to adapt to IFC? I understand that there is structured nap/feed/play time in IFC, my LO now naps randomly with no schedule.. Worried mama here...

usually for IFC they follow the child schedule. like my LO also starts at 3mths. the ifc follow her routines.

Sleeping through the night

Hi mummies! Did your baby just sleep through the night suddenly one day? My LO is still feeding at 12am and 4am at 15 weeks old.

yes that’s what happened for mine. i kept waking up to see what happened but LO was soundly asleep

How to juggle work and take care baby together

Hi mummies, Im glad that my boss allow me to work from home still after my maternity leave. However, I am taking care baby at the same time. At times, i looking at my new born i feel sorry to her that i couldnt giv her my full attention. i feel so sad and useless that i cant give her the best. i couldnt be full time mom as we are not a very rich family and there are alot of commitments. i am not willing to send her to infant care yet. i am so lost everyday.. ☹️

I think it’s already great that you can wfh and sneak in to see your bb now and then, baby can sense your presence even if you are not engaging her. Don’t beat yourself up, comparing to many mummies who have to wfo, I think you’ve got yourself a good deal being able to work and see baby all day😊

3 month old baby, stops drinking after about 70-90ml after every feed

Please help a lost mama here. My LO is 3 month old, he will stop sucking his milk after about 70-90ml and cries. We will then burp him. He is all smiley when in the burping position but when the bottle is re-offered to him, he cries and struggle. He is only drinking about 100ml per feed, every 3-4hourly I have tried upsizing his nipple teat size, trying a new bottle, but this issue is persisting and has been persisting for about 2 weeks. What is happening to my baby here :(( Did he develop some sort of unsuitability to his formula milk suddenly? Do I need to try a new formula?? Please help a lost mum here

may be teething so appetite is lesser. can just increase frequency of feed instead of volume. don’t worry it’s perfectly normal for their intake to fluctuate as their body develops.

Rash on LO neck

Hi mummies! What rashes are these on my LO's neck? Could it be due to heat / milk?

Can’t be totally sure but could be from baby’s saliva or milk. Wipe off with clean water and apply breastmilk if available - usually works for me for any small bumps on baby’s face & neck
